# Affirmations vs FWEC

The clearest difference is monetization model: Affirmations at free with in-app purchases against FWEC's subscription. Affirmations also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months). FWEC's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Affirmations sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and FWEC sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $119.99 per 3 months. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Affirmations ships an update fortnightly, FWEC every 3 months. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
