# Freedom Do vs Task Flow

The clearest difference is rating: Task Flow at 4.6 against Freedom Do's 3.7. Task Flow also leads on ratings volume (337 vs 3). Freedom Do's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and review sentiment (100% vs 76%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Task Flow sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Freedom Do asks for nothing beyond the download.

Task Flow holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Task Flow has 337 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Freedom Do's written reviews are positive against 76% of Task Flow's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Freedom Do ships an update weekly, Task Flow every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
