# Discy vs Veiw

The clearest difference is ads: Veiw at none against Discy's shown. Veiw also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Discy's advantage is update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 22 months). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Discy ships an update every 6 weeks, Veiw every 22 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
