# VPN vs KanCN

The clearest difference is ads: KanCN at none against VPN's shown. KanCN also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 5 weeks) and ratings volume (315 vs 38). VPN's advantage is review sentiment (92% vs 61%) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPN sells 12 one-off in-app purchases and KanCN sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for VPN against 4.6 for KanCN. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: KanCN has 315 ratings behind it against 38, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 92% of VPN's written reviews are positive against 61% of KanCN's.

VPN ships an update every 5 weeks, KanCN every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
