# VPN vs DPCloud

The clearest difference is ads: DPCloud at none against VPN's shown. VPN's advantage is ratings volume (38 vs 7). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPN sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and DPCloud sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for VPN against 4.4 for DPCloud. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VPN has 38 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 92% of VPN's written reviews are positive against 86% of DPCloud's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
