# Goddax vs CETTIRE

The clearest difference is ads: CETTIRE at none against Goddax's shown. CETTIRE also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (17K vs 24). Goddax's advantage is review sentiment (57% vs 24%) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CETTIRE holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CETTIRE has 17K ratings behind it against 24, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of Goddax's written reviews are positive against 24% of CETTIRE's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Goddax ships an update every 2 months, CETTIRE every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
