# DAOU+ vs HALL Wines

The clearest difference is ratings volume: DAOU+ at 435 against HALL Wines's 2. HALL Wines's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 5 weeks) and iOS requirement (14.5 vs 16.6). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for DAOU+ against 5.0 for HALL Wines. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DAOU+ has 435 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

DAOU+ ships an update every 5 weeks, HALL Wines weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
