# DAOU+ vs TacoBytes

The clearest difference is update cadence: TacoBytes at every 3 days against DAOU+'s every 5 weeks. DAOU+'s advantage is ratings volume (434 vs 2). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for DAOU+ against 5.0 for TacoBytes. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DAOU+ has 434 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 93% of DAOU+'s written reviews are positive against 100% of TacoBytes's.

DAOU+ ships an update every 5 weeks, TacoBytes every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
