# OTR Solutions vs CargoFar

The clearest difference is ratings volume: OTR Solutions at 2.7K against CargoFar's 3. CargoFar's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for OTR Solutions against 5.0 for CargoFar. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OTR Solutions has 2.7K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

OTR Solutions ships an update every 6 weeks, CargoFar fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 22, 2026.
