# PR vs Sky+

The clearest difference is ads: PR at none against Sky+'s shown. PR also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). Sky+'s advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 20 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PR ships an update every 20 months, Sky+ monthly. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
