# Hyper vs Juky

The clearest difference is rating: Hyper at 4.6 against Juky's 3.1. Hyper also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 7 months). Juky's advantage is review sentiment (57% vs 39%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hyper sells 25 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Juky sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hyper holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hyper has 11K ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 39% of Hyper's written reviews are positive against 57% of Juky's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Hyper ships an update every 2 weeks, Juky every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
