# Hyper vs Cosplan

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Cosplan at 100% against Hyper's 40%. Cosplan also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.6). Hyper's advantage is ratings volume (11K vs 4). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hyper sells 25 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Cosplan sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cosplan holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hyper has 11K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 40% of Hyper's written reviews are positive against 100% of Cosplan's.

Hyper ships an update every 2 weeks, Cosplan every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
