# DadsonPay vs Gig Stack

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: DadsonPay at none against Gig Stack's 1. DadsonPay also leads on ratings volume (1.4K vs 7) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 26.5). Gig Stack's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 10 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Gig Stack sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. DadsonPay asks for nothing beyond the download.

Gig Stack holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DadsonPay has 1.4K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 75% of DadsonPay's written reviews are positive against 100% of Gig Stack's.

DadsonPay ships an update every 10 months, Gig Stack every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
