# flex vs Hancom Docs

The clearest difference is rating: flex at 3.4 against Hancom Docs's 1.7. flex also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 5 weeks). Hancom Docs's advantage is monetization model (ad-supported vs freemium) and review sentiment (39% vs 28%). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

flex holds the better App Store score, 3.4 against 1.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 18 and 28 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 28% of flex's written reviews are positive against 39% of Hancom Docs's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

flex ships an update every 3 days, Hancom Docs every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on October 20, 2026.
