# Now vs Digital Time

The clearest difference is ads: Digital Time at none against Now's shown. On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Now sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Digital Time sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
