# ABC Runner vs Novice Driver

The clearest difference is review sentiment: ABC Runner at 76% against Novice Driver's 54%. ABC Runner also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 5 weeks) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 13.0). Novice Driver's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.4). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ABC Runner sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Novice Driver sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Novice Driver holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 22K and 29K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 76% of ABC Runner's written reviews are positive against 54% of Novice Driver's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ABC Runner ships an update every 9 days, Novice Driver every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on October 19, 2026.
