# Patternum vs Pact

The clearest difference is rating: Pact at 5.0 against Patternum's 3.4. Pact also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 6 months). Patternum's advantage is ratings volume (25 vs 2) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Pact holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Patternum has 25 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Patternum ships an update every 6 months, Pact every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
