# OTTplay vs Sort My Scene

The clearest difference is rating: OTTplay at 4.5 against Sort My Scene's 2.3. OTTplay also leads on update cadence (every 11 days vs every 7 months) and ratings volume (168 vs 3). Sort My Scene's advantage is review sentiment (90% vs 52%) and in-app purchases (none vs 15). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OTTplay sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Sort My Scene asks for nothing beyond the download.

OTTplay holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OTTplay has 168 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 52% of OTTplay's written reviews are positive against 90% of Sort My Scene's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

OTTplay ships an update every 11 days, Sort My Scene every 7 months. Both last shipped on October 27, 2026.
