# 控时 vs Floating Clock

The clearest difference is rating: 控时 at 4.7 against Floating Clock's 3.3. 控时 also leads on ratings volume (15 vs 3) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Floating Clock's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 控时 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Floating Clock sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

控时 holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 控时 has 15 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

控时 ships an update every 2 weeks, Floating Clock weekly. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
