# On vs iFTx

The clearest difference is price: On at Free against iFTx's $1.99. On also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 6 months). iFTx's advantage is review sentiment (72% vs 50%) and ratings volume (70 vs 13). On rating, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

On is free to download; iFTx costs $1.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iFTx has 70 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of On's written reviews are positive against 72% of iFTx's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

On ships an update monthly, iFTx every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
