# BrickHunter vs NoteSnap

The clearest difference is rating: NoteSnap at 4.6 against BrickHunter's 4.0. NoteSnap also leads on ratings volume (20K vs 3) and chart position (#72 vs unranked). BrickHunter's advantage is monetization model (free vs freemium) and review sentiment (71% vs 47%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BrickHunter sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and NoteSnap sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NoteSnap holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NoteSnap has 20K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of BrickHunter's written reviews are positive against 47% of NoteSnap's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BrickHunter ships an update every 3 weeks, NoteSnap every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
