# SPV vs compend

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: SPV at 13.0 against compend's 17.0. On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SPV sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and compend sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
