# MD Clock vs Napkin

The clearest difference is rating: MD Clock at 4.6 against Napkin's 1.0. MD Clock also leads on ratings volume (6.6K vs 1) and device support (4 vs 2). Napkin's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MD Clock sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Napkin sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MD Clock holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MD Clock has 6.6K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
