# MD Clock vs Starloft

The clearest difference is monetization model: Starloft at free with in-app purchases against MD Clock's subscription. Starloft also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). MD Clock's advantage is ratings volume (6.6K vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MD Clock sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Starloft sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Starloft holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MD Clock has 6.6K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
