# Widget D vs Date Today

The clearest difference is rating: Date Today at 4.0 against Widget D's 1.0. Date Today also leads on ratings volume (26 vs 2). Widget D's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (50% vs 33%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Widget D sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Date Today sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Date Today holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Date Today has 26 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Widget D's written reviews are positive against 33% of Date Today's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
