# OlympiaTV vs CheckIn Pro

The clearest difference is review sentiment: OlympiaTV at 52% against CheckIn Pro's 0%. OlympiaTV also leads on ratings volume (90 vs 3). CheckIn Pro's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 3.4) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OlympiaTV sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and CheckIn Pro sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CheckIn Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OlympiaTV has 90 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 52% of OlympiaTV's written reviews are positive against 0% of CheckIn Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

OlympiaTV ships an update every 3 months, CheckIn Pro every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
