# Auto Mercado vs PetsApp

The clearest difference is monetization model: PetsApp at free against Auto Mercado's free with in-app purchases. PetsApp also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Auto Mercado's advantage is ratings volume (1.9K vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PetsApp holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Auto Mercado has 1.9K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Auto Mercado ships an update fortnightly, PetsApp every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
