# Lock Screen Widgets App vs Widget Kit

The clearest difference is rating: Widget Kit at 5.0 against Lock Screen Widgets App's 4.4. Widget Kit also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). Lock Screen Widgets App's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (1.1K vs 2). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lock Screen Widgets App sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Widget Kit sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Widget Kit holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lock Screen Widgets App has 1.1K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
