# CompTIA Network+ Exam Expert vs Locked In

The clearest difference is rating: Locked In at 5.0 against CompTIA Network+ Exam Expert's 3.0. Locked In also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months). CompTIA Network+ Exam Expert's advantage is ratings volume (4 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CompTIA Network+ Exam Expert sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Locked In sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CompTIA Network+ Exam Expert ships an update every 4 months, Locked In every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 18, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
