# Notebox vs Swismail

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Notebox at 86% against Swismail's 0%. Notebox also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 5 weeks) and ratings volume (6 vs 1). Swismail's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.3) and in-app purchases (none vs 2). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notebox sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month. Swismail asks for nothing beyond the download.

Swismail holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Notebox has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of Notebox's written reviews are positive against 0% of Swismail's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Notebox ships an update every 2 days, Swismail every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
