# linkbox vs AI Chat

The clearest difference is rating: AI Chat at 4.3 against linkbox's 2.6. AI Chat also leads on ratings volume (754 vs 11) and device support (4 vs 2). linkbox's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 12) and ads (none vs shown). On price and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AI Chat sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. linkbox asks for nothing beyond the download.

AI Chat holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AI Chat has 754 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of linkbox's written reviews are positive against 88% of AI Chat's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

linkbox ships an update every 2 weeks, AI Chat every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
