# GigNotes vs Setlists!

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Setlists! at none against GigNotes's 5. Setlists! also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 weeks) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). GigNotes's advantage is ratings volume (35 vs 1) and device support (4 vs 2). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GigNotes sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month. Setlists! asks for nothing beyond the download.

Setlists! holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GigNotes has 35 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

GigNotes ships an update every 2 weeks, Setlists! every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
