# DateWidget vs TP

The clearest difference is price: TP at Free against DateWidget's $0.99. TP also leads on rating (5.0 vs 1.0) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 3 months). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

TP is free to download; DateWidget costs $0.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TP holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TP has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

DateWidget ships an update every 3 months, TP every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
