# BAKKA vs Pillvery

The clearest difference is rating: BAKKA at 4.5 against Pillvery's 3.3. BAKKA also leads on ratings volume (114 vs 4). Pillvery's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BAKKA holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BAKKA has 114 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

BAKKA ships an update every 3 months, Pillvery fortnightly. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
