# Clipboard PRO vs Black Reader

The clearest difference is update cadence: Black Reader at every 3 days against Clipboard PRO's monthly. Black Reader also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Clipboard PRO sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Black Reader sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Clipboard PRO ships an update monthly, Black Reader every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
