# FTP® vs Affliction

The clearest difference is ratings volume: FTP® at 8.8K against Affliction's 731. FTP® also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.4). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for FTP® against 4.9 for Affliction. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FTP® has 8.8K ratings behind it against 731, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 86% and 87% positive.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 15, 2026.
