# FTP® vs CFR

The clearest difference is ratings volume: FTP® at 9K against CFR's 7. CFR's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly) and review sentiment (100% vs 86%). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for FTP® against 5.0 for CFR. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FTP® has 9K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 86% of FTP®'s written reviews are positive against 100% of CFR's.

FTP® ships an update fortnightly, CFR every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
