# DR E vs C

The clearest difference is review sentiment: DR E at 100% against C's 40%. DR E also leads on rating (4.5 vs 3.9) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). C's advantage is ratings volume (632 vs 28) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 4 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

DR E holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: C has 632 ratings behind it against 28, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of DR E's written reviews are positive against 40% of C's.

DR E ships an update every 4 months, C every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
