# MountainAccess vs Mobility Carsharing

The clearest difference is rating: MountainAccess at 4.9 against Mobility Carsharing's 4.7. MountainAccess also leads on monetization model (ad-supported vs freemium) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). Mobility Carsharing's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 89%) and ratings volume (188 vs 28). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MountainAccess holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mobility Carsharing has 188 ratings behind it against 28, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 89% of MountainAccess's written reviews are positive against 100% of Mobility Carsharing's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MountainAccess ships an update every 3 weeks, Mobility Carsharing fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on September 18, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
