# Curmmunicate vs File Manager

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Curmmunicate at 67% against File Manager's 17%. File Manager's advantage is rating (4.2 vs 1.0) and update cadence (monthly vs every 12 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Curmmunicate sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and File Manager sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

File Manager holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: File Manager has 55 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Curmmunicate's written reviews are positive against 17% of File Manager's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Curmmunicate ships an update every 12 months, File Manager monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
