# VDPConnect vs Shera

The clearest difference is rating: VDPConnect at 2.1 against Shera's 1.0. VDPConnect also leads on ratings volume (15 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17). Shera's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

VDPConnect holds the better App Store score, 2.1 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VDPConnect has 15 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

VDPConnect ships an update every 2 weeks, Shera every 6 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
