# IMAX vs Oasis IFE

The clearest difference is rating: Oasis IFE at 5.0 against IMAX's 2.2. Oasis IFE also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 19) and ads (none vs shown). IMAX's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (34 vs 1). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. IMAX sells 19 one-off in-app purchases. Oasis IFE asks for nothing beyond the download.

Oasis IFE holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: IMAX has 34 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
