# IMAX vs SonicHue Sync

The clearest difference is review sentiment: SonicHue Sync at 100% against IMAX's 35%. SonicHue Sync also leads on rating (4.6 vs 2.2) and ads (none vs shown). IMAX's advantage is ratings volume (34 vs 7) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. IMAX sells 19 one-off in-app purchases and SonicHue Sync sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SonicHue Sync holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 34 and 7 respectively. Written reviews point the same way: 35% of IMAX's written reviews are positive against 100% of SonicHue Sync's.
