# Aviator Assistant vs PilotAWOS

Aviator Assistant and PilotAWOS both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of PilotAWOS's written reviews are positive against 50% of Aviator Assistant's. PilotAWOS also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). Aviator Assistant's advantage is update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (74 vs 8). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Aviator Assistant sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per month and PilotAWOS sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Aviator Assistant against 4.6 for PilotAWOS. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Aviator Assistant has 74 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two.
