# HypeRate vs LoveTouch

The clearest difference is monetization model: LoveTouch at free with in-app purchases against HypeRate's subscription. LoveTouch also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly). HypeRate's advantage is review sentiment (53% vs 31%). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HypeRate sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and LoveTouch sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LoveTouch holds the better App Store score, 2.9 against 2.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 25 and 36 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 53% of HypeRate's written reviews are positive against 31% of LoveTouch's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

HypeRate ships an update fortnightly, LoveTouch every 4 days. Both last shipped on September 28, 2026.
