# Object Hunt vs Seek.io

The clearest difference is update cadence: Seek.io at every 4 days against Object Hunt's every 2 months. Seek.io also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). Object Hunt's advantage is ratings volume (81K vs 5). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Object Hunt sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Seek.io sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Object Hunt against 4.6 for Seek.io. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Object Hunt has 81K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 32% of Object Hunt's written reviews are positive against 36% of Seek.io's.

Object Hunt ships an update every 2 months, Seek.io every 4 days. Both last shipped on October 17, 2026.
