# Jooni vs SeenLog

The clearest difference is ads: Jooni at none against SeenLog's shown. Jooni also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 5 weeks). SeenLog's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (5K vs 5). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Jooni sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and SeenLog sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SeenLog holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SeenLog has 5K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Jooni's written reviews are positive against 46% of SeenLog's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Jooni ships an update every 9 days, SeenLog every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on October 27, 2026.
