# Prisms vs Dominiard

The clearest difference is update cadence: Dominiard at every 5 months against Prisms's every 17 months. Prisms's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Prisms sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Dominiard sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Prisms ships an update every 17 months, Dominiard every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
