# X vs Squabbit

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Squabbit at 98% against X's 13%. Squabbit also leads on rating (4.9 vs 2.6) and update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 months). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. X sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per year and Squabbit sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $59.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Squabbit holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Squabbit has 5.5K ratings behind it against 78, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 13% of X's written reviews are positive against 98% of Squabbit's.

X ships an update every 2 months, Squabbit every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
