# X vs Loop Golf

The clearest difference is rating: Loop Golf at 5.0 against X's 2.3. X's advantage is ratings volume (66 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. X sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per year and Loop Golf sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $49.00 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Loop Golf holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: X has 66 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
